1.       Booking – Payment to be taken upon confirmation of acceptance of hire or on the day of fitting. Payment will be taken by Credit or Debit Card.

2.       Security Deposit – None required, although criminal and civil action will be taken if equipment is not returned.

3.       I.D. – Photo Driving Licence (If paper licence) then passport and a Utility bill dated within three months of the hire.

4.       Liability – The hirer indemnifies the Company, its employees and or its agents against any claims actions, proceedings, damages and or liabilities arising out of or relating to the Hirers use of the Equipment. Your statutory rights are not affected.

5.       The Hirer is responsible for the safe and correct operation of Equipment in accordance with the loading limits of the roof box and Bars and also the Vehicle manufactures guidance on roof loading limits. The Hirer will ensure any other equipment used in conjunction with the equipment hired also conforms to safety requirements.

6.       Removal of The Equipment from Vehicle the Hirer agrees that under no circumstances will he/she or his/her agents remove the equipment from the vehicle at any time during the Hire Period.

7.       Theft of Equipment must be reported to the Police and a crime reference number obtained. The Hirer must notify Manchester Roof Box Hire within 48 hours of the theft.

8.       Late Return – The Hirer must inform MRBH 48 before the return date in order to not let down another customer who has booked a hire. Late return of equipment will incur a daily charge equivalent of our 4 day rate, up to the point where the cost of replacement of equipment is met. All associated Legal and recovery costs will be added to the total.

9.       Alternative Equipment – The Company reserves the right to supply alternative products as required to the in the event of stocking issues caused by previously damaged equipment or late returns. All equipment will be of the equal or greater standard.

10.   Damage loss or theft of any or all Equipment will be charged.

Lost or Broken Keys £25

Roof Mounted Cycle Racks £88.00

Tow Ball Mounted Cycle Racks £400.00

11.   Collecting and Delivery and Fitting of Equipment – The Hirer or his/her agent will sign for the fitted equipment. By signing, the Hirer or his/her agent acknowledges that the equipment has been satisfactorily inspected & confirms that it is the equipment ordered and that it is in an acceptable condition. The Company it’s staff and or its agents accepts no liability for any damage caused either to the vehicle or third parties as a result of fitting such equipment.

• DEFINITIONS
• The “Company” is Manchester Roof Box Hire
• The “Hirer” is the person whose name & address appears on the Hire Contract of which these terms and conditions form a part. The Hirer accepts full legal liability for all the equipment listed on the hire contract(s). The Hirer must be 18 years or older
• “Equipment” includes Roof Bars, Roof Boxes, Bike Carriers and all associated equipment. “The Hire Period” is the date from which the equipment is collected/received by the hirer from the Company until the return date that the hirer is due to return the equipment. These dates are clearly outlined in the Hire Contract.
